Drivers Education
Instructor: Mr. Ness
Among 15-24 year olds, the leading cause of death is motor vehicle collisions. This makes learning to drive a very serious undertaking. As far as the threat to personal safety is concerned, driving is probably the most important skill we learn in today's world. This class will include instruction in all aspects of the driving task. Topics include:

A. The Highway Traffic System
B. The IPDE Strategy for Driving
C. Controlling Your Vehicle Within Nature's Laws
D. Driving in Various Environments and Situations
E. Responsibilities of Driving and Owning a Vehicle

Upon successful completion of Classroom Driver Education, students are eligible to begin the Behind-the-Wheel phase of Driver Education. (Not offered by the Marathon School District.)
